Top 5 Cardio Exercises to Lose Weight!

Top 5 Cardio Exercises to Lose Weight!

Most people have gained weight due to lockdown and are trying to reduce it. Here are the Top 5 Cardio Exercises to Lose Weight!

Results can be seen only after hard work and consistency.

The training of strength is important to speed up the metabolism and thus burn calories even at rest, but to lose weight effectively, it is best combined with cardiovascular exercise. But not everyone likes - or can - put on their shoes and start doing kilometers, running is an exceptional cardio exercise, but also very harmful, if you feel pain in your knees or in any part of your body, don't force yourself.

1. Walking [300-400 calories/hour]

Yes, it's that simple! Perhaps walking is the easiest exercise and that you have the most at hand. Walking is not only a great way to burn calories, but it is also a low-impact exercise that almost anyone can do. However, if what you want is to burn calories and lose weight, do not take a walk at the pace of a turtle. To get results, it takes a fast, moderate pace to increase your heart rate and burn off that extra fat. You should know that, in addition to weight control, regular brisk walking allows:
-Prevent or control various conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes
-Strengthen bones and muscles
-Improve your mood
-Increase balance and coordination

2.Running upstairs [500-1000 calories/hour]

A simple flight of stairs can become a fundamental training tool. Climbing stairs, and more if you do it running, provides a great calorie burn. A 150-pound person can burn up to 1,000 calories if he climbs stairs for an hour. But it is not a matter of reaching something so dramatic and running out of breath for the rest of the day, but of going up and down at a good pace for 15 or 20 minutes. If you combine it with strength exercises or calisthenics, it is much more effective than running for an hour. So now you know, you just need a nearby park with a good flight of stairs, and there you have your new gym!

3. Get around by bike [280-680 calories/hour]

If you live in a place where there is a bike lane, I advise you to try this means of transport, not only will you avoid the jostling of public transport and traffic jams, but you will also burn a lot of calories, reduce vascular risks and strengthen the muscles. In addition, a good posture on the saddle strengthens the back muscles and prevents pain and contractures.

4. Swimming [300-600 calories/hour]

Swimming is one of the best cardio exercises where you burn 300 to 700 cal/hour. You also do strength work by fighting against the resistance of the water, making it one of the most complete sports out there and an unparalleled ally when it comes to losing weight.

5. Jump rope [400-700 calories/hour]

Go back to childhood! One of the best cardiovascular exercises to lose weight is to jump rope! Not only does it burn tons of calories, but it helps increase bone density, strengthens your legs, and strengthens your heart. If you incorporate a few minutes of rope jumping into your exercise routine, you will achieve your weight loss goal without even realizing it. Not in vain is it used so much in boxing training, it is the best way to keep those extra kilos at bay without having to change categories. Done correctly, the impact on the joints is less than running.

Additional information:

Remember that, to lose weight, your cardio training is much more effective if you combine it with strength work. Intersperse cardio activities with weight sessions or classes like Body Pump, Functional Training, or Toning. And be consistent: that's the key.

  5. I wondered why I gained weight even when workout was happening daily..

Then I realized.. that's because it's my tongue that works out daily into the ice-cream bowl and spoon.. and it has turned very flexible with zero fatigue..
